Attendees will then learn and practice a wide variety of different techniques for reducing anger responses. The techniques and skills taught in this class are distinctly unique multi-generational expertise and are based on skills and techniques from 25 years of experience in business, academic, ecclesiastical, and corporate communities. The training includes multiple group exercises and opportunities to learn how you can reduce your anger and control unhealthy responses.

Training Includes:

• Identifying the unique underlying causes of personal anger and the behavioral patterns that prompt angry responses
• What anger is, and how it affects one’s physical, emotional and spiritual well-being;
• Anger in the home, workplace, classroom, and even the sacred place of faith;
• Angry all the $*@! time:  When anger becomes an out of control rage;
• Anger and chemical dependency;
• Anger and racial, ethnic, gender, and sexual orientation related issues;
• How to reduce the anger response:  Dealing with the memories of painful past events;
• The language of angry expressions and how to manage them;
• Learning multi-generational communications skills that reduce friction; and
• Turning negatives into positives:  Learning to use life’s experiences.

Upon completion of this course, the participants will be able to:

• Identifying the virtues necessary for sound leadership;
• Articulating the values underscoring leadership virtues;
• Reflecting on personal and professional virtues;
• Becoming familiar with the contexts for making ethical decisions and the skill to apply them in leadership situations; and
• Identifying core values necessary to become and succeed as principled leaders.

Upon completion of this course, the participants will be able to:

• Understand the New Testament’s revelation of Jesus Christ;
• Increase Biblical knowledge of the two natures (deity and humanity) of Jesus;
• Understand the branch of Christian doctrinal theology that deals with salvation through Jesus Christ called Soteriology; and
• Study and interpret aspects of the resurrection and ascension of Jesus

• Identify basic resume writing guidelines;
• Target their resume to the requirements of specific jobs or job categories;
• Identify the resume format (e.g., Chronological and Functional) they should use to most effectively market their areas of strength;
• Explain the guidelines for constructing resumes that expedite electronic scanning; and
• Prepare resume for Internet and email submission
